Jambo Guest House is an Oasis of Peace and Tranquillity, yet situated within 10 minutes walking distance of the V&A Waterfront. The Waterfront is built around a working harbour. There are Bars and Restaurants on the water`s edge, a large shopping mall with many more Restaurants, Shops, Cinemas and Craft Markets. Many Sailing Tours leave from there, as well as Helicopter Tours.  There are 5 good Restaurants only 2 minutes walk away from Jambo. The City Centre is 4 minutes drive away. In the City one can find the Castle, Green Market Square Flea Market, The Company Gardens with Parliament, National Gallery, Museum and the Planetarium. The world famous Table Mountain provides a magnificent backdrop to the city, and 5 minutes drive takes you to the Lower Cable Station. The popular Clifton Beach is a further few minutes drive away.

 Jambo has 5 uniquely decorated, luxurious and comfortable Double Rooms, all with en-suite Bathrooms. Each Room is equipped with a Safe, TV (M-Net), Mini-bar-Fridge, Telephone, Tea/Coffee, Fan, Hair dryer, Radio-alarm-Clock and top-of-the-range Beds. Winter guests will enjoy - Electric Blankets, Down-Duvets, Heaters, and in the bathrooms heated Towel Rails. Two rooms have Fireplaces.

The Garden Suite :  A newly renovated suite opening directly onto the garden, containing a four-poster double bed, 2 sitting areas and a single sleeper couch. This suite has it`s own entrance, separate from the main house. The en-suite bathroom boasts a corner spa-bath, a carved mahogany basin unit and Trompe L`oeil paintings on the ceiling and walls.

The Bay Room : A large and elegant room containing a queen-sized bed with a canopy, a double sleeper-couch, a Victorian fireplace and a Bay window overlooking the garden.

The Rose Room : A large sunny room with a view of the garden, containing twin beds and a single sleeper couch.

The Green Room : A cosy room with a Victorian fireplace and a view of the garden. Inside, you will find a large desk, suitable for corporates, or just to write a postcard back home.

The African Room : This cosy room contains a queen-sized bed, and exudes its own brand of African charm.
