Port Alfred is a small village nestled along the meandering banks of the Kowie River and situated on the Eastern Cape coastline. Vast sand dunes stand guard over kilometers of empty beaches ... a spectacular wilderness between the roaring ocean and the indigenous flora.

Our underwater environments are spectacular locations for diving.  Soft corals and sponges carpet our sea floor with vibrant colors.  This is a diving destination not to be missed. Keryn's Dive School is a NAUI affiliated organisation that is geared at professional tuition and ensuring that your dive holiday is a success.  A warm and friendly atmosphere allows you to relax and thoroughly appreciate the picturesque sites.

Kids from 6 years and up can experience SCUBA in the safe and warm confines of our Indoor Heated Pool.

We boast that "If you learn to dive in the Kowie you can dive anywhere in the World".

We try to make the transition from hardened terrestrial dwellers to aquanauts as fun and informative as possible.  We can guarantee that in no time at all you will have joined the ranks of the underwater explorers.

INTRODUCTORY SCUBA: A pool experience for those thinking about diving and would like to try.

RESORT COURSE: No certification, 1 sea dive.

REFRESHER COURSE: No certification, includes equipment hire.  Includes, a lecture, pool session, 1 sea dive.

SCUBA DIVER: Includes 5 openwater dives

ADVANCED DIVER: Includes 6 openwater dives Includes boat and specialized equip. Excludes SCUBA equipment and air.

MASTER DIVER: Includes 6 dives  Excludes SCUBA equipment and air and manual

RESCUE DIVER: Includes 3 dives. C card , excluding manual.  Includes boat and specialized equipment.  Excludes SCUBA equipment and air and manual

ADVANCED RESCUE DIVER:  Includes 3 dives.C card.  Includes boat and specialized equipment. Excludes SCUBA equipment and air and manual 

ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR COURSE: Includes boat, specialized equipment and fills. Excludes SCUBA equipment, air, manuals and registration.

DIVEMASTER COURSE:  Includes 10 dives.  Includes boat, specialized equipment and fills.  Excludes SCUBA equipment, air, manuals and registration.

SKIPPERS COURSE: Includes lectures, written exam and a practical evaluation on your boat. Certificate from SAMSA when you have fulfilled all criteria. 

VHF RADIO COURSE: Exam will be conducted in P.E
