Escape to a peaceful country retreat tucked away on a beautiful citrus farm just kilometres from the famous Addo Elephant Park, and close to the Big Game Reserves of Shamwari and Schotia.

Woodall Country House offers luxury guest house & bed and breakfast accommodation which is hard to match. After a day's game viewing, guests may wander through the orchards, relax around the swimming pool or sip drinks whilst spotting water birds from the sundowner deck overlooking the dam and magnificent rose gardens. 

All rooms are en suite (most with private outdoor showers), and have air conditioning, mini bars, cd players, bath robes and private patios. Cool off in the pool surrounded by palms and a waterfall, or sip sundowners whilst spotting the waterbirds.

Breakfasts:  Sumptuous Farm breakfasts, either full South African Style or extensive Continental, both served with homemade jams, preserves, scones, croissants or muffins. 

Dinners:  Excellent country cuisine served by candlelight in the thatched African style dinning room overlooking the dam. Gourmet, three-course meals, using only the freshest homegrown herbs and vegetables are served with great personal attention.

Addo Elephant Park:

Sundowner, Day & Night Drives during which elephant, rhino, buffalo & other nocturnal animals may be seen.

Shamwari Game Reserve :

Day trips, which include lunch,  a visit to a cultural village and a three hour game drive (big game being the main attraction).

Schotia Game Reserve :

"Tooth and Claw Safari" which begins late afternoon and returns after nightfall. This is followed by a traditional dinner in a thatched lapa around the fire.  Lion are the attraction here.
